Board members need to understand the roles and function of the core conservation partners and programs. This module will inform you of the many partners involved with district efforts.

Districts are most effective when working with the many partners available. Building relationships with partners is key to district success. Partnerships are a powerful, important avenue to fulfilling the district mission. These collaborations and relationships require tending too and commitment so they grow and benefit both partners and the community.

The purpose of this presentation is not for you to memorize all the programs and partners available, of which is impossible to share here, but that you be aware of the vast opportunities. We often use acronyms to reference partners so pay close attention in the next few slides to frequently used acronyms!
